Each of the people have their hands raised and they have a number of fingers on each hand indicating how much of their time is reinvestable and how much they have to devote to survival needs. The people in this area have no time: their hands are in their fists. In the areas in the United States they have all their fingers up: they have their whole life to reinvest in the way they want to reinvest it. . . So it begins all of a sudden . . . just thinking about mobile areas and politics, you begin to see a whole Earth at once and how man is doing on whole Earth."
