“We’ve got enormous chasms here on Earth, like the Grand Canyon. You come to the brink and you can’t cross it. Then suddenly you’ve got a beautiful bridge. You don’t have to persuade people to cross it. They want to get to the other side, so everybody uses the bridge. When we’re properly educated, we’ll know where the bridges are, and we’ll know the fortunate consequences of crossing them.” . . .
