Basic Triangle: Basic Disequilibrium 120 LCD Triangle: The basic triangle is “the 120th of a sphere which is the six right triangles subdividing each of the 20 equilateral triangles of the icosahedron. It occurs spherically, but it doesn’t make any difference whether it is spherical, the angles are the same: the thing would fold over if it weren’t for the 6°.”
